Venom Academy is a nonprofit organization founded by Sir-Darryl Johnson and Jessica Webber. Both former high school and collegiate athletes with a deep passion for basketball and community impact. Together, they have led multiple community initiatives in their hometown in Connecticut that served hundreds of children and families. Now, based in the Charlotte Metro Area, Johnson and Webber have joined their love of the game and community in creating Venom Academy. Venom Academy is an all-inclusive training program that focuses on not only basketball skills but mentorship and overall health for the mind, body and soul. Our Venom Academy athletes showcase their talent on our 11U basketball team, Charlotte Venom. 

Venom Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is committed to making a positive impact through our various programs and initiatives. From organizing basketball tournaments, hosting skill development workshops to community outreach, we strive to create a thriving environment for basketball enthusiasts of all ages.
